China’s government has imposed an unprecedented lockdown in Hubei province to contain the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). At least 57 million people are living quarantine conditions in over a dozen large cities across the province.

Fear of the virus, lack of medical access, isolation and a stream of misinformation from authorities have left many citizens doubting the effectiveness of their government.
