Well that was a night. Trump’s rally, which supposedly got a million ticket requests, filled maybe half its 19,000 seats, with vast empty spaces above the first tier either thanks to trolling Tik Tok grandmothers and K-Pop stans or because nobody wanted to come see him. Attendance was so sparse that campaign organizers were frantically texting “There’s still space!” two hours before the rally and workers started taking down an outside stage after only 25 people turned up out of an announced but non-existent “overflow” crowd of 40,000. Meanwhile, he spewed and rambled and, humiliated by his West Point failures, showed he could stagger down an imaginary ramp. The night’s highlight: He shakily, single-handedly drank a glass of water from a big boy cup, drawing semi-thunderous cheers. The bar is now officially so low it’s underground.

The “President” showed off his ability to drink a glass of water with one hand, just barely.
