PFAW Congratulates Rashida Tlaib on Primary Win

WASHINGTON – Following today’s announcement that Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI-13th) has won the primary election for her seat,  People For the American Way President Ben Jealous released the following statement:

“We’re thrilled to congratulate Rashida Tlaib on her primary victory. Rashida has been one of the many standouts in our People For the American Way programs. People For the American Way was also proud to endorse her in both of her primary races and in the general election in 2018. She is a brilliant and fearless advocate for her constituents and we know she will continue to serve with great distinction. It’s an honor to know her and to watch her star continue to rise.”
