By a simple reverse image search, Alt News found that this picture of Prime Minister Modi and German Chancellor Scholz is from their meeting in Berlin on May 2, 2022, where they discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation under the overall strategic partnership, as well as regional and global developments, according to a statement by the Ministry of External Affairs. The image was tweeted from the official handle of the Prime Minister of India on the same date and it does not have the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in the background.
